Resume

Welcome to my digital portfolio. I am Francesca Tassi Carboni, an architect with a rich background in managing diverse building typologies and scales across various European contexts. My professional journey spans from urban planning to detailed construction projects in Ireland, Sweden, and Spain, underpinned by my Italian roots.

This blend of experiences fuels my passion for leveraging architecture as a catalyst for social sustainability and enhancing living conditions. At Urban Agency, where I worked for several years as Project Architect and Associate Architect, these principles guided my commitment to shaping environments that respect the past and embrace the future, fostering community engagement and well-being.

Areas of Expertise

  • Public Realm and Masterplanning: I have extensive experience in public realm enhancement projects and master planning. My expertise includes user-friendly design, activation strategies and greening techniques, elements crucial for creating vibrant and sustainable communities.

  • Residential and Domestic: I have worked on a diverse array of residential designs, from high-density urban developments to domestic extensions. I focus on creating living spaces that are both functional and inspiring, integrating sustainable practices to enhance comfort and reduce environmental impact.

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Leading numerous projects at Urban Agency has honed my skills in team coordination, client liaison, and stakeholder engagement. These experiences taught me to consider all voices in the development process for accurate and efficient design solutions.

  • Historical and Contemporary Integration: My studies in Italy provided me with unique insights into interventions in historic town centers and archaeological sites. I specialize in blending contemporary design with historical contexts, emphasizing the preservation of cultural heritage while introducing modern interventions.

Thank you for exploring my work. I look forward to collaborating on future projects that champion innovation, sustainability, and community welfare.
